“My diagnosis of cancer, was discovered in 2018. I have a pain during the work. I came to the doctor. The family doctor make some exams and sent to me for the hospital in Aveiro.

The tumour was very big. It’s almost 18 centimeters. So, after the surgery, I did 6 months of chemotherapy just for prevention.

And after almost 1 year, the disease came back. So since October 2020, I am doing the the chemotherapy.

After almost, 4 years, my doctor, told me that the chemotherapy, didn’t do the correct effect. So he told me, Marcelo, you must find another way for your disease. During this period, my wife  talked to other doctors and some doctors know this therapy, but they said to me I don’t have details because this is not studied in Portugal.

After finding a study about Dendritic Cell Therapy our confidence in this therapy grew up a lot. 

The process with Immunyo  was very, very, very good. The clinic, the therapy, occurred very, very well. I felt very comfortable doing the therapy. I liked very much.

In the last appointment with my oncologist, he said to me that the disease stopped. I am still doing the chemotherapy and this therapy I did with Immunyo.

I think it’s, maybe the combination of both therapies really helped me to stop the disease.

That is wonderful for me. During the disease, I never complained why I have this disease. I just accepted and fight against it. This disease showed me that I must live everything when I can, when it’s possible.

And my mind is very positive. And this disease show me you must live with your family more time. My message for these people, try to do this therapy because this therapy, maybe doesn’t have the same percentage of efficacy, but help with chemotherapy to pass this disease. This is my message. Another message, try to live better than you lived before.

My wish is to live more and more to see my sons grow up.”
