Brain Cancer
DCT

In mid February I had a seizure which originally was diagnosed as a stroke but mid March 2024 an MRI showed the lesion was a glioblastoma… an absolutely devastating diagnosis.

Standard of care treatment was an operation to take it out followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. I didn’t want any of that and the neurosurgeon here said 18 months with or without an operation. In the meantime my niece sent me information about peofessor Richard Schoyler in Australia who is a glioblastoma survivor using Nobel prize winning science of Dendritic Cell Therapy.

A quick search on the internet for DCT and immunotherapy led me to this company and Danny an excellent Patient advisor. To cut a long story short after two trips to Athens for do blood draw (just like having blood tests) and the vaccine administration (which was painless) in June 2024, having been paralysed down my left side (Arm and leg) I have regained mobility and with the help of a walking frame I am gradually going out again to tavernas and regaining my strength.

Compared to the cost of standard of care treatment this immunotherapy is cost effective and I’m relieved to say the cancer vaccine seems to be successful but keeping a cautious eye. My husband and I hope when I have the next MRI it will be shown to be shrunk if not terminated by the T (terminator cells) and natural killer cells of my boosted immune system from the DCT therapy. A miracle of modern science.
